This performance commences with Prokofiev’s playful and humorous “Classical” Symphony. The charming sounds of Prokofiev will be followed by Mendelssohn's thrilling work, “Violin Concerto in E minor,” featuring violinist Wen-Miao Hsu. Our 2023 concert will conclude with the rich melodies and robust optimism of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. This program celebrates the strength of music and community as well as the joy of musicianship.
